I have decided to try doing a full switch to linux to see if it is a viable alternative now to windows, and Mac OS X. I will be using Ubuntu 10.04 for this experiment. The goal is to do everything I normally do with a PC on Linux without using ANY windows applications or virtual machines. The exception to this of course is gaming, and is work only related items.
